Smashing the World Record at the 2023 Beer Mile World Classic

Once a year, the most elite beer milers across the world gather to compete in the world’s premier drinking event. Celebrating its 9th year as the official beer mile world championship, 2023 broke records – both in competition and viewership.

World record holders Corey Bellemore (CAN) and Allison Grace Morgan (USA), headlined the championship races. Shelby Houlihan made her debut on the beer mile world stage, and the celebrity heat was packed with big names: Darren Rovell, Nev Schulman, Francis Ellis, Carlin Isles, Ken Rideout, Cynthia Frelund.

Beer Mile Media reached out to Mainstream because they wanted an elite production to match the quality of their athletes. Working hand-in-hand with our friends at Thatch Media and Mad City, we put together a show that blew away their expectations.

Production included two live drone shots, a jib, a host booth, real-time graphics and scoring, instant replay, and a narrative-driven broadcast that kept viewers engaged for over 20 hours.
